Level 2
EV Chargers
A clean Level 2 install — sized for the car you have next.
A car charger is a 20-year decision. We size the circuit for the future, not just the EV in your driveway today, run conduit cleanly, and wire to the charger's OEM spec — no melted plugs, no nuisance trips.
What that looks like on a real job.
- Hardwired & NEMA 14-50 installs (Tesla, ChargePoint, Wallbox, JuiceBox, etc.)
- 40A / 50A / 60A / 80A circuit sizing per the future load
- Garage, carport, and exterior-wall mounting
- Load calculations done before the quote — not after
- Utility rebate paperwork prepared for you
Common Questions
What people ask first.
- Will I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger?
- Not always. We run a load calculation against your current panel before quoting. If you're already near capacity, we'll either size down the charger or bundle a service upgrade — and we'll show you the math either way.
- How much does a Level 2 install cost?
- Typical Frederick installs are $1,200 – $2,400 depending on panel-to-garage distance and conduit run. We quote a fixed price after a free site visit.
